Start building your sales funnel in this full-day intensive, whether your venture serves businesses or consumers.

In this full-day intensive, take a deep dive into sales basics as they apply to your business and create a sales strategy to drive revenue for your startup.

This includes an introduction to sales basics, followed by a specialized seminar that will go deeper into the differences for B2B and B2C business owners.

You will also get an opportunity to work with a coach to start working on your own strategy. If you are launching or running an early-stage business and need help applying systems to grow your revenue, this workshop is for you!

Who Should Attend

This workshop is most beneficial to early-stage entrepreneurs and changemakers interested in learning how to conduct primary and secondary market research. It is open to the public including Leap Startup League cohort members, early-stage impact entrepreneurs and UTM students.

Speakers

Karen Booth | Associate Dean, Sheridan College

Karen became an Associate Dean in the Pilon School of Business in January 2020.  Prior to this role, she was a professor teaching various classes which included Sales Account Management, CRM and Management & Leadership. In addition to teaching, she also held the role of a program coordinator and participated in a number of committees and activities including the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition as an Event Coach.

Marcie Theoret | Professor, Sheridan College 

Marcie is the Sales and Marketing Professor at Sheridan College since 2002. Primarily teaching in Sales, Math, and student preparedness and development courses. Marcie has a B.Math and an MBA. She has worked at small, medium, and large companies selling enterprise software. With a passion for roles that offer a combination of training, marketing and technology.
