EDGE and ICUBE are pleased to bring you a two-part webinar series form the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on tax knowledge and bookkeeping. The Liaison Officer Service is a free education program for current and future small business owners. The purpose of these seminars is to encourage compliance through education and to provide tax knowledge to new and existing business owners. Individual educational sessions are also available to participants after the seminar presentations to provide them with personalized educational experiences.
The second part of the webinar series for sole proprietors and self-employed individuals will uncover common tax errors made by small businesses and provide a general overview of GST/HST as well as basic payroll information. It will also provide more information on various online tools and services offered by the CRA, such as the benchmarking tool and the CRA My Account.
