About this Event

Last week, Prime Minister Trudeau announced that the federal government is preparing an $82 billion-dollar financial aid package aimed at supporting small businesses and employees. On March 30th at 11 AM, ICUBE and EDGE will host Shayan Rashid of SRJ Chartered Accountants and Hani Al-Dajane of Emerge Law to help break down what we know about the Economic Response. We’ll answer questions that will help you access the right resources, funding and supports to navigate these uncertain times.

In this workshop you will:

  • Gain clarity on the Government of Canada’s Economic Response and how to access these financial aid opportunities
  • Learn about employment law and your rights and responsibilities as an entrepreneur and business owner
  • Discuss questions and concerns about legal and accounting perspectives of how the financial aid package might impact your startup

Join us for this virtual workshop as we support each other through uncertain times.

ICUBE and EDGE members have priority registration for this session. Members of the Sheridan, UTM community and public are welcome to join if spots are available.

If you have questions please feel free to send them to us ahead of time and we’ll do our best to address them during the discussion.
