Brad is a serial tech entrepreneur and professional services executive who has worked throughout North America and Japan. His passion for entrepreneurship has found him serving on a number of boards, from Cupertino to Halifax, advising startups, helping to launch new ventures and commercializing scientific research.
Brad’s last corporate position was with Ricoh where he created innovative organizational models for IT service delivery, secured and grew Ricoh’s largest and most strategic global accounts, and worked on global services strategy. In his roles at Ricoh he had significant P&L responsibilities and participated in numerous mergers, acquisitions, and major reorganizations.
He now runs a consulting practice that focuses on growth and reorganization initiatives for service-based businesses.
Lum is the current CampusStart Coordinator at the Ontario Centres of Excellence. Previously, he was an integral part of the formation and launch of the University of Toronto Mississauga Entrepreneurship Business Accelerator (ICUBE) creating the program and curriculum. Darren has spent time working for the Regional Innovation Centre of Peel Region (RIC Centre) as the Communications and Marketing Officer. He has also worked for 2 technology startups in cloud payroll and 3D printing while completing his Master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Although retired from KPMG, Doug is extremely active and currently serving as a Trusted Business and Financial Advisor to small and mid-sized business owners and high net worth individuals and helps them better manage their business and personal affairs. Doug is also a Strategic Advisor to Brickbase Business Professional Support Services, a start-up business which specializes in business process transformation and combines state-of-the-art cloud-based technology and on-demand, top-tier personalized professional services.
Doug is a member of UTM Campus Council, is actively engaged mentoring many UTM business students and graduates and is a recent recipient of an Arbor Award from the university. He is also very active in many other community activities including being a key member of the Board Fundraising Committee of the Nature Conservancy of Canada – Ontario and supporting an organization that provides disabled youth the opportunity to learn to ski/snowboard.

Yeadon began her career as a radiation therapist treating cancer patients at Toronto’s Princess Margaret Hospital where she treated babies with tumors and nueroblastomas. She says that experience plays a big part in how she considers issues in her current work. “Facing life-or-death situations daily made me realize that my day-to-day concerns paled in comparison to big health issues,” she says. “I worry less about the “what if” than the average person, which allows me to make successful, risky strategic decisions for Impetus.”

Naveen is a Senior Research Scientist working in the Advanced Materials Lab at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC). He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario in 1991, and his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1997 at the University of British Columbia. Vigen Nazarian is the President of Naprico Inc. – a consulting company providing advisory and financing services to early stage technology companies.
Vigen started his career in 1989 as a researcher in the biotechnology industry working at companies such as Allelix, Pioneer Hi-Bred and Dupont. In 2000 he joined University of Toronto to commercialize innovations arising from university research. During his time at U. of T. he was instrumental in launching several startups, as well as forming academic and business partnership valued in excess of $100 million.
