ICUBE in the News: ParticipAid

An essential component of any medical breakthrough is the clinical trial.  On a mission to accelerate medical discoveries through developing a platform that helps recruit and retain participants for clinical studies and trials, ParticipAid landed on the front page of UTM News.

In the story “New app by UTM alumni connects researchers with study volunteers,” ParticipAid founders including UTM alumni Anthony Nazarov (BSc, ’10) and Maroof Moral (BSc ’09), along with McMaster University alumna Erica Tatham, hope to transform the way participants are recruited for medical studies. This fall, the entrepreneurial trio will launch a beta version of ParticipAid, a mobile app that will make it easier for volunteers and researchers to find each other.
