Do you have an idea that you want to bring to life? Are you looking for funding and support to make it happen? Crowdfunding might be a way to do it without having to sell your business (and sometimes your soul!) to investors, while building an engaged community around your idea. Experienced crowdfunder Andrew Luba will share with you his insights and a clear framework for how you can make your idea real. Andrew’s only 27 too, so he’s going to try his darn hardest to make this online workshop more engaging and exciting than your UofT lectures. Have your laptop ready because we will be doing more than just talking!
In this workshop, we will:
- Learn about and use a practical crowdfunding framework that you can apply to your idea.
- Start to build your crowdfunding campaign by engaging in research, games, and other breakout activities.
- Discuss your business and project ideas, and have time to ask Andrew questions as we navigate through the framework.
This event is designed for: anyone who at minimum has an idea for a business/product/service etc.
