DESCRIPTION:Pitch your idea for a chance to win $1000! Attendees help select the winners.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\n  \nPITCH – Student Edition! \nIf you are a student with a business idea\, apply now for a chance to win one of the five $1\,000 cash prizes! Selected individuals or teams will compete by showcasing their idea via a three-minute pitch. The five winning teams will each receive a $1\,000 prize to develop their idea further. \nWHAT DO YOU GET? \nFive $1\,000 cash prizes\, plus three $1\,500 in-kind prizes towards incorporation by LW Law. \nIMPORTANT DATES! \nApplication deadline – Friday September 6th at 5 pm \nFinalists Announced – Monday September 9th\, 2019 \nPITCH Workshop (recommended\, not mandatory) – Tuesday September 10\, 2019 at 12:00 noon \nPITCH Event – Wednesday September 18\, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Innovation Complex Rotunda \nELIGIBILITY \n1. The team has at least one founder that is a current UTM student OR a UofT student participating in ICUBE \n2. Start-up business idea or company with no more than $25\,000 in cumulative sales or external investment as of August 26\, 2019. \n3.
