Innovation in Mississauga is moving forward at an incredible pace. On January 18th, ICUBE is excited to host it’s second annual Pitch Competition, bringing innovators, entrepreneurs and all lovers of tech together to see the great things happening in technology! In the past these pitch competitions have been a great way to showcase teams to investors and organizations that can propel these start-ups forward. Our finalists have gone on to raise $300K on Kickstarter, operate in 13+ countries, have valuations over $12M and more!

Khaled has emceed major city events at Celebration Square including New Years Eve (30,000 people), Sound Bites Music Festival (25,000 people), Sauga Block Party (10,000 people) and Japan Festival Canada (40,000 people).

Her research aspirations are to bring innovation to drug discovery through bridging chemical and biological approaches.

Our goal is to eliminate 8 billion food miles before the 8 billionth person is born. We are doing this by empowering urbanites to grow their own food at home with our FarmWall. We offer a full package service where the customer only needs to water their plants and watch the system grow up to 40lbs of fruits and vegetables a month.
We have a goal of eliminating 8 billion food miles, saving 8 million liters of water, and growing 800 000 pounds of local sustainable food before the 8 billionth person is born. We are doing this by empowering anybody to grow anything anywhere in any space at any time of year. Whether it is in your kitchen or in the spare closet make your spaces productive.

Blair Mabee is a senior manager in MNP’s Mississauga Office with a focus in public companies and the technology, media and telecommunications sector. Blair leverages over 10 years of audit experience in assisting his clients in meeting their financial reporting and operational needs. Blair is familiar with Canadian and U.S. reporting requirements and auditing standards.
Blair has worked with a broad range of industries including renewable energy, food and beverage, junior mining and technology, media and telecommunications. Blair has managed assignments that have a significant number of consolidated entities, operations in foreign jurisdictions and early stage start-ups and go public transactions.
Blair is an active member of MNP’s National Public Company Workgroup which involves researching new and proposed standards, reporting requirements and the potential impact on clients as well as preparing resources for the firm. Blair is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). He received his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
