ICUBE is seeking a talented and ambitious Lead Designer to create advertising collateral (posters, banners, infographics, digital media, slide presentations, etc. e) to support our marketing goals. From concept through execution, the Lead Designer will improve ICUBE’s user experience by bringing our brand to life. Working alongside the rest of the team, you will be responsible for designing and branding the content that fits the team’s vision. You will use your creativity and skills not just to make marketing materials more attractive, but create brand consistency and get amazing results.

What You’ll Be Doing:
-Create designs for print media such as brochures, pamphlets, and posters.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to support website design and digital marketing content (social media platforms, blogs, and more).
-Produce a variety of design projects that effectively represent ICUBE in all communication channels, including developing new design initiatives and revamping existing materials.
-Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
-Deliver exciting, effective, and memorable design elements that capture ICUBE’s brand.
As an Ideal Candidate:
-You have experience working on products from the “what if” stage all the way to “this looks fantastic!”
-Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
-Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve.
-Able to rapidly switch pace depending on project needs and able to update designs appropriately as feedback comes in.
-Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and multitask, as well as work collaboratively with other students on a variety of projects.
-Specialist/Major in Graphic Design, Communications or Marketing or a related field.
Please note: This is a work study position at UTM, which means you must be a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
