Red Shawl aims to empower women through effective leadership skills to achieve growth and success in personal and professional life. An annual leadership luncheon is organized to advance education that focuses on themes and topics relating to women’s advancement as entrepreneurs, professionals, volunteers and homemakers.
A marketplace is also organized for women entrepreneurs; where they can launch/sell their products and build clientele.

The Innovation in Action Tour will take you on a full-day bus tour, stopping at three innovative South Halton Region companies (Javelin Technologies, Urtech Manufacturing, Illuma-Drive). Artificial Intelligence has made tremendous strides in recent years, and its impact has been felt both inside the university and across society.  Yet despite its successes, there remain significant technical challenges, as well as serious societal and ethical challenges.  Today’s students, across all disciplines, need to be prepared to both take advantage of the opportunities afforded by AI and meet the challenges it poses to us all.  Join us for a discussion on how AI is changing the nature of work during the first Future of Work Speaker Series featuring Sven Dickinson.
