ICUBE Side Session II. The Business Model Canvas
Oct 31 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Icube Side SessionWho are your key stakeholders and what’s your plan? How can you maximize using the Agile Business Model to grow? These questions can be answered through a business model which functions as a roadmap for entrepreneurial success. While having a few ideas scribbled down on a sheet of paper – name ideas, product prices and ideal locations  – is a great start, a proper business model takes time. There are many moving parts when it comes to running a business and you don’t want to be caught unprepared. In our side session on October 31, 2017 we will outline the “Business Model Canvas,” and how you may use it to your advantage when developing a business model.

Workshop breakdown:

A.) The Business Model Canvas
B.) MVP and Product Vision
C.) Workflow Map

Main goal of the workshop:

  • To help you design your business  model around your value proposition using the business model canvas, to facilitate the development of a more holistic business model from which to work.

What you’ll learn:

  • An understanding of the various components that collectively make up the business model canvas
  • How to design an early business model, focused on your preliminary value proposition

ICUBE Side Session V. The Business Plan
Nov 22 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Icube Side Session A business plan stands as a content-heavy document that same would say is ‘living’. The real value of creating a business plan is not in having the finished product in hand; rather, the value lies in the process of researching and thinking about your business in a systematic way. The act of planning helps you to think things through thoroughly, research facts and trends, and take a critical look at your own ideas and concepts. Developing a business plan will take time, but it will also minimize costly – and perhaps disastrous -mistakes over the long-term.

Workshop breakdown:

A.) Essentials of a Business Plan
B.) Things to Avoid When Creating a Business Plan

Main goal of this workshop:

  • This workshop will ultimately explain how to create a business plan, what elements of the plan are important, and why it is necessary.

What you’ll learn:

  • Develop a framework and gain an understanding of business essentials
  • Understand when to use either a business model canvas, or a business plan
