The Founder’s Roundtable is an exciting peer exchange session of experience and insight into founding, building, and running a startup.
There is a topic and special guest for each session who kicks off the conversation. Naturally, they will demonstrate significant experience and expertise in the areas of entrepreneurship and business leadership. Learn, listen, and share the challenges and opportunities that are unique to your experiences as founders.

Khaled Iwamura is the founder of Quickbite News that consists of Insauga.com, Inbrampton.com, and Inhalton.com, which have become some of the biggest city websites in Canada and enjoys the largest social media following in the western GTA.
He is also TEDx Speaker, Tokyo Tourism Spokesperson, TV host and producer and part-time pro wrestler.
insauga.com, inbrampton.com and inhalton.com combined have 1,100,000 unique visitors per month, 3.1 million page views per month, 750,000 video views per month and has the biggest social media following in the western GTA with well over 100,000 followers.
He sits on the Board of Directors of The Living Arts Centre, Legends Row and Japan Festival Canada.
Ashley Newport is a senior editor with QuickBite News (insauga.com inbrampton.com inhalton.com) who can write about pretty much anything, but has a particular fondness for food, restaurants and real estate. Ashley graduated from York University with a degree in Professional Writing in 2007 before going on to study Print Journalism at Sheridan College. She has written for publications specializing in a range of subjects, including healthcare, restaurants, hotels, furniture and lifestyle news.

WHAT: LaunchME! The lunch gathering that’s all about YOU.
Do you need some feedback, a focus group, or a new set of eyeballs? We all need a little help from our friends, and that’s what the Launch Me Lunch is all about! Get feedback on your latest design, pitch, presentation, product, idea, that you would like to share with your fellow Accelerate mates.
You get center stage for up to 20 minutes. Ideally you’ll spend about 10-15 minutes pitching your idea, and then get feedback from your peers for 5-10. This is an awesome opportunity to get live feedback and discussion around something you’re working on from peers and mentors.
Our goal is to start at 12:05 and we ask that everyone stay for all presentations to be part of the feedback process.

This workshop will help you create a sustainable value proposition that is validated through customer and peer appraisal.
The instructor: Marko Mrkonjic is a UTM alum and sales executive with over seven years of experience, mainly in the SaaS/tech industry. He has worked in business development, account management and leadership roles. In his last position, he was the first North American sales hire tasked to grow enterprise sales across the Fortune 1000. Currently, he oversees sales efforts in Canada, the U.S. and Australia for a subscription analytics start-up.
